About the role

Main Duties:

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead our outbound marketing activities. You’ll be responsible for presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. For this role, you be a creative and quantitative thinker. You should be familiar with various product marketing techniques, like email campaigns and pricing strategies. Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products.

Role 360:

  • Study company products
  • Translate technical details into benefits for the user
  • Follow and analyze market trends to position products
  • Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching)
  • Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)
  • Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies
  • Test marketing product features, releases and ad copy
  • Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective
  • Performing market, customer and competitive research to segment the market and produce buyer insights, identifying what opportunities, challenges and dynamics exist for the organization and its products
  • Leading new product/feature launches and generating demand
  • Guiding, creating and delivering differentiated messaging and compelling content to communicate value to the market, and drive awareness and engagement
  • Helping field and vertical teams penetrate their customer and industry segments by building and executing high-response campaigns
  • Enabling sales, indirect channels and strategic partners
  • Leading account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives
  • Fostering growth through customer advocacy
  • Applying technology and data to increase marketing reach, grow segmentation, accelerate demand, streamline processes and make more informed decisions
  • Managing the performance of the product marketing team, programs and collaboration with other stakeholders


Skills you will need to apply:

  • Excellent communication skills: Must be able to deliver clear, compelling and articulate written and verbal communications.
  • Creative skills: Must be able to evaluate creative design options and be open to experiment with new approaches, to test hypothesis and establish KPIs that can help determine effectiveness.
  • Analytical skills: Must be able to identify signals and measures that can be incorporated into KPIs and be willing to change direction based on results illustrated through analytics.
  • Technical skills: Ability to drive development and consensus on technology investment goals; Knowledge or direct experience with the technologies in use or planned is a plus.
  • Managerial skills: Build relationships with functions outside of product marketing, including corporate communications, demand generation, product management, engineering, sales, customer success, services and IT
  • Leadership skills: Decisive decision maker and persuasive influencer, with the ability to build enthusiasm for new plans


What you bring with you:

  • A minimum of five to seven years of proven B2B technology marketing experience in a Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager or similar role
  • Ability to provide examples of go-to-market strategies and programs for prior roles in enterprise technology or service providers, with the corresponding impact to revenue contribution
  • Experience in market analysis
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Creativity
  • Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
  • Master of Business Administration in Marketing, Communications or similar field is a plus
  • Background in design and copywriting is a plus
  • Understanding of the challenges and concerns of development teams to identify and exploit opportunities for improvement
  • High energy and enjoy working in a fast-paced global environment
  • High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change
  • Enjoyment in working in an agile environment and continuously strive for improvement
